WATCH: Boeing shows off 787-9 Dreamliner's capabilities over Washington

MOSES LAKE, Wash. -- Boeing is showing off its new 787-9 Dreamliner with high-banking turns that show wing flex, a steep takeoff and more.

The video was taken over central Washington as pilots practice for the Farnborough International Airshow in the United Kingdom.

The video also shows the plane's side-to-side movements which demonstrate roll authority and handling.

The new 787-9 is the second member of the 787 family of super-efficient airplanes with features that should make passengers happier. It flies more passengers with 20 percent less fuel and 20 percent lower emissions than the planes they replace.

ANA is the launch airline of the 787-9 Dreamliner and the first Japanese airline to take part in an international airshow.

As of June 2016, orders have been placed by 38 customers worldwide.
