Armed phone-stealing robber: Help identify bold crook who stole cash, clerk's way to call cops

WANTED IN PIERCE COUNTY --
Deputies need help identifying an armed robber who not only stole a store's cash, but the clerk's way to call the cops.

The frightening heist starts with the robber darting to the counter -- his handgun already out and pointed towards the clerk at a Parkland store last month. He switches the gun to his other hand with the barrel pointed down, fumbles around to get a bag out of the pocket of the red hoodie he's wearing. He then orders the clerk to empty all the cash into a bag. "He took the money, but not only that, he took the store phone and he took the clerks cell phone, so we're guessing this is somebody who planned this and has experience with this type of behavior, probably because he got caught by somebody calling it in last time, so we do have some video. We want to have the public take a look at it to see if we can get him identified," says Pierce County Det. Ed Troyer.

Detectives think he's white or Hispanic, around 30 years old, 5’7”, with brown hair, a full beard, and wearing that red, hooded sweatshirt.
