Highway 101 temporarily blocked after SUV towing travel-trailer rolls over

OLYMPIA – Seven people were hurt, none seriously, when an SUV towing a travel trailer rolled over on southbound Highway 101 near Mud Bay in Olympia on Tuesday.

A spokesperson from the Washington State Patrol said the passengers were a family with several children, and that it didn’t appear drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash.

All lanes were blocked following the accident.  All lanes were reopened by 4:30 p.m.

The WSP spokesperson said it didn’t appear any of the injuries were serious, but that two of the children might be taken to the hospital to be checked out.
