Cause of mobile home fire in Kent undetermined by fire officials



KENT, Wash. - Fire officials are saying the cause of a mobile home fire Sunday afternoon is undetermined.

The fire was reported around 1:30 p.m. in the 24400 block of 64th Ave. When fire crews arrived they could see a large black column of smoke coming from the home.

It took firefighters 15 minutes to extinguish the fire that ripped through the roof of the mobile home.

No one was in the residence at the time of the fire, but a family dog did die in the fire.

The cause of the fire is undetermined due to the amount of damage to the structure.  According to Kent fire department there was no sign of fireworks.
