Could airports turn to ‘customs-like’ security zone?

SEATTLE -- After terror attacks at airports in Brussels and Istanbul, some experts are questioning whether air travel in the United States could be in store for a major security overhaul.

Security consultant Jeff Slotnick joined “Q13 News This Morning” on Friday to discuss possible increased safety measures.

"Detection equipment, more cameras, those types of things to be able to detect and analyze behavior. And have folks watching those cameras. But eventually, I could see a time where security is actually pushed out of the airport into a customs-like zone, where all people, all packages, all vehicles are screened.”
