Top hot dog toppings for your 4th of July Barbecue

Mustard is supreme - according to a survey on the most popular hot dog toppings.

JJ's Red Hots, a Charlotte-based hot dog and sausage company, has released this years results of its informal survey.

Here are the findings.


    This is the first time queso made the list.  Other items that made the list last year are nowhere to be found - like pimento cheese, salsa and caramelized onions.

    The National Hot Dog and Sausage Council reports Americans will eat seven billion Hot Dogs between Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day.  The most popular day for hot dogs is is July 4th, when Americans will consume more than 150 million.
