Sounders excited for second annual Pride Day match Saturday

SEATTLE – The Seattle Sounders are gearing up for their second annual Pride Day match this Saturday.

The first 50,000 fans through the gates will receive a Pride flag when the Sounders play host to New York City FC at 2 p.m. at CenturyLink Field.

It will be Seattle’s first full-stadium match of the year, and the Sounders’ first home match in over a month following a layoff for the Copa America tournament.

Members of the Sounders will join Seattle’s Pride parade Sunday.

Midfielders Cristian Roldan and Aaron Kovar stopped by Q13 News on Thursday to chat about the weekend’s events.
