Firefighters still battling fire at Everett recycling center

EVERETT, Wash. -- Firefighters in Everett are battling a massive structure fire along the city's waterfront.

Smoke from the fire that broke out Saturday evening could be seen for miles.

It's unknown what time the fire began at 101 West Marine View Drive.

Everett Fire officials say there have been no reports of injuries. The building was a total loss and the cause is still under investigation.

Around 100 firefighters have been battling the fire since Saturday. Crews were able to save a nearby engineering building.

Roads near the fire were closed.

Firefighters had responded to another fire at the recycling facility last Wednesday. They were able to put that one out quickly and said it started by spontaneous combustion.
