Little girl cries tears of joy over doll with a prosthetic leg just like hers

HOUSTON - A 10-year-old Texas girl born with a rare birth defect never dreamed how special her own American Girl doll could be.

Emma Bennett has worn a prosthetic leg for most of her life, and had no idea her new doll would look just like her.

Her mother, Courtney Fletcher Bennett, was able to have the doll customized with a leg to match her daughter's thanks to A Step Ahead Prosthetics, a company that makes after-market alterations to dolls.

Courtney posted a Facebook video of the emotional moment when her Emma received the doll.

"You gotta be kidding me," Emma says excitedly as she rips the doll out of the package. Emma then bursts into tears as she hugs the doll.

"It's got a leg like me," Emma yells as she holds the doll. "I love you."

The video has been watched nearly 10 million times.
