Q: Can a felon be with someone who has a gun with a concealed carry permit? — Guy

A: “It is legal for a convicted felon to be in the presence of a person who does have a valid concealed pistol license. The only thing that that person would need to know is that they can’t be in dominion or control of the firearm, or be in possession of that firearm, but being with that person with the firearm is legal.” — Fife Police Chief Pete Fisher
