Local woman fight back against Parkinson's Disease

It's estimated one-million Americans are living with Parkinson's Disease.  There is no cure, but in recent years, we've seen the benefits exercise can provide for people battling the disease.

With that in mind, a group of local women are boxing and seeing great results.  They're participating in a boxing program at Rock Steady Boxing in Seattle.

The program offers these women a chance to combat the disease and be around other people going through the same struggles.  Karen Johanson founded the local program after watching her dad battle Parkinson's Disease.
