Lockdown lifted after bomb threat at Seattle Pacific University

SEATTLE - Police have given the all-clear, after investigating a possible bomb threat at Seattle Pacific University.

University officials say they called police and asked them to search the campus, after receiving a suspicious phone call earlier tonight.

As precaution, the university initiated a  lockdown. They sent alerts to students, telling them to remain in place. They also evacuated Royal Brougham Pavilion, where a fashion show had been scheduled to take place.

Police say they did not find anything during their search. SPU officials say their security officers will remain on high alert.

Seattle Pacific University was the scene of a deadly shooting in June of 2014.  One person was killed and three others injured.  Students were able to disarm the shooter before police arrived.
