Fire destroys home under construction on Capitol Hill

SEATTLE — A home under construction was destroyed after a fire early Saturday morning.

Seattle Fire said the first calls came in just after 4 a.m.

Crews were still working on hotspots six hours later.

Flames also spread to a home next door, burning part of the home and a detached garage, according to firefighters.

A third home had smoke damage.
