Local oral surgeons offer 'second chance' to King County resident in need of new smile

KING COUNTY, Wash. -- An oral surgeon is offering dental implants to one lucky King County resident through their "Second Chance" program.

The team at Pacific Northwest Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons is accepting applications to restore one lucky person's oral health with state-of-the-art dental implants.

"The Second Chance program is about finding a member of our community who is in need of serious oral health care but cannot afford it. The program will provide this person with a Second Chance—our oral surgeons will restore their smile through a full-arch restoration procedure, which will replace their teeth with a set of brand new, custom-designed teeth supported by dental implants. These new teeth will function and appear just like natural teeth, giving the recipient a brand new smile and a whole new lease on life. If you have experienced a facial trauma, severe tooth loss and damage, infection, disease, or if you suffer from a genetic condition that causes your teeth to decay or fall out, you may be a perfect candidate for the Second Chance program."

Oral surgeons will review the applications and meet with several finalists and hear their stories in person.

"The entire treatment process from start to finish will be completely free of charge—the Second Chance program is about restoring oral health, function, and confidence to a deserving recipient in an effort to give back to the wonderful Pacific Northwest community."

The deadline to apply is May 26 and the final recipient will be chosen June 15.
