State senator: 'No doubt in my mind' Trump will be the next president

OLYMPIA, Wash. -- Support is mixed for Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, among party leaders in Washington state ahead of two planned campaign stops on Saturday.

Trump is scheduled to hold rallies in Spokane and Lynden, a town about 100 miles north of Seattle, ahead of the state's primary election May 24.

Senator Don Benton (R-Vancouver), the director of Trump's campaign efforts in the state, spoke to Q13 News about the candidate's upcoming visit and what he believes a Trump presidency could offer Washingtonians.
