Large amounts of drugs, guns, cash and cars seized in major bust, police say

BURIEN - Ten people were arrested and large amounts of drugs, weapons, cars and cash were confiscated as part of a high-level bust spanning from Tacoma to Seattle early Friday morning, police said.

All told, police said they seized more than four pounds of crystal methamphetamine; more than a pound of heroin; multiple handguns and rifles, some of which was stolen; body armor; about $150,000 in cash; and nine vehicles.

Eight search warrants were served as the culmination of an investigation led by Burien police and the King County sheriff’s office that began last October.

Police said there are more suspects, but they haven’t been found so they’ve been referred to the prosecutor’s office for various charges.
