'Baseball Hat Bandit:' Guaranteed $1,000 reward to identify serial bank robber wearing different caps for slew of capers

BASEBALL HAT BANDITWANTED IN PIERCE AND KING COUNTIES --

A guaranteed $1,000 cash reward is yours if you can call Crime Stoppers and tell police the name of a serial bank robber.

We're calling him the ‘Baseball Hat Bandit’ because of the different ball caps he wears for his heists, including a black Seattle Mariners hat, a crimson and white WSU Cougars hat, one with the letters "WA" formed into the state of Washington and another dark hat with a big ‘B’ on it.

Detectives say he's hit fives time in the past month in both King and Pierce counties.

“I think he's getting lucky and thinking he's going to be able to get away with this and that's why we need the public's help in identifying who he is,” says Puyallup Police Capt. Scott Engle. “In our case here in Puyallup he entered a bank on a Friday evening at about 6 o'clock, which is very brave to do that, lots of people around in a grocery store, presented a note, in all of the incidents he's presented a note, receives his cash and then is on his way. I think that people who are stuck doing this, once they've hit once they think they're going to hit the jackpot and keep going and it's just a matter to time before somebody recognizes him and let us in law enforcement know and we can track him down.”

Detectives think he's white, in his 20's, around 5’8”, 150 to 170 pounds, with a goatee.
