Several buildings in Fremont evacuated while crews work to fix gas leak

SEATTLE – Several buildings in Fremont were evacuated Wednesday afternoon thanks to a gas leak.

There was a full response from fire crews in the area after reports of a gas leak at 125 N. 36th St.

There were reports of a strong gas odor in the neighborhood, and a stretch of the 120 block of 36th was shut down in the area while crews worked to fix the leak.
