Seahawks announce Chris Clemons has agreed to deal to return to Seattle

SEATTLE – A familiar face is coming back to the Seattle Seahawks’ defensive line.

The team announced Friday afternoon that defensive end Chris Clemons has come to an agreement to play with the Seahawks again.

Clemons came to the Seahawks via trade in 2010, and led the team with 11 sacks in both 2010 and 2011.

He bore an ACL in the playoffs in 2013, then went on to play on the Seahawks Super Bowl winning team the next season before being released in March 2014.

He was released by Jacksonville on March 3.
