Pacific boy honored for saving his grandmother's life by quickly calling 911

SEATTLE -- A 9-year-old boy from Pacific, Wash., is being honored for saving his grandmother's life.

When his grandmother collapsed, the boy immediately picked up the phone and called 911.

On Thursday, the boy -- Austin Holdt -- received the "911 Hero Award" at a ceremony at the Woodland Park Zoo.

Austin and his brother were the only ones with their grandmother when she collapsed. Austin told the 911 operator all the information and followed her directions until medics arrived.

If you want to see and hear from Austin, his grandmother and the 911 operator, all three will be on Q13 FOX News Friday morning at 9:45.
