Deputy stops wife for carpool violation -- but wait for the surprise ending

ANAHEIM, Calif. -- An Orange County sheriff's deputy got a big surprise after pulling over his wife for a traffic violation.

The woman filmed the encounter. As the deputy approached the vehicle, his wife said she was trying to get to work.

"Mike, what are you doing?" the woman said.

"It's deputy," he replied.

The deputy then said he pulled her over for violating California Vehicle Code 21-655 -- riding alone in a carpool lane.

The woman said she was not in violation and her husband said, "We will argue about this later."

She then hands over her license, registration and a piece of paper that reads: "Baby Wigginton arriving September 2016."
