Fire at Ballard church started in boiler room, officials say



SEATTLE (AP) — Officials say an early morning fire at a Seattle church started in the boiler room. They have found no evidence that the fire at St. Paul's United Church-Christ in the Ballard neighborhood was suspicious.

The fire at the church near NW 65th St & 11th Ave NW broke out just before 3 a.m.

Neighbors called 911 when they saw smoke pouring out of the building.

No injuries were reported.
