WATCH: Are 'safe injection sites' for heroin users worth considering in King County?

SEATTLE --  As the heroin epidemic rages in Western Washington some have advocated creating safe injection sites for drug users.

The sites would serve as a place where users could use illegal drugs under the watchful eye of medical staffers.  The detritus, including needles, would then be safely disposed of by staff.
