MILL CREEK, Wash. -- A funnel cloud was spotted Sunday afternoon in Snohomish County.
Several Q13 News viewers shared photos and video of the funnel cloud in the Mill Creek area.
Meteorologists say it did appear to be a funnel cloud, but without damage reports, the National Weather Service could not immediately say if it was a tornado.
Officials say it appears that the funnel cloud dissipated after a minute or so and did not reach the ground. Pea-sized hail also was reported in the area.
A convergence zone brought lightning strikes to the area and snow to the mountains on Sunday.
