Welcome to the jungle: Guns N' Roses (including Slash) is coming to Seattle this summer

SEATTLE – Assuming none of the things Guns N’ Roses is famous for happen between now and this summer, Guns N’ Roses is coming to Seattle.

The band announced Friday that it will embark on a 21 city tour, and that one of the stops will be in Seattle.

The announcement came via Twitter – a medium that wasn't even invented until 10 years after Slash quit the band in 1996.

The tour will reportedly feature the band’s core in Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan.

Guns N’ Roses played KeyArena in 2011. Slash wasn’t with the band, though Seattle’s McKagan did join Rose on stage to play “You Could Be Mine” after his band Loaded opened the show.

The band had already announced six reunion stops, beginning with shows the weekend of April 8-9 in Las Vegas.

Dates and venues for the rest of the tour, including the Seattle stop, have yet to be announced.
