Sea-Tac workers who intended to strike today will instead hold vigil for victims of Brussels attacks

SEATAC, Wash. – Airline workers at Sea-Tac Airport who had planned to be part of a national strike will instead join a prayer vigil Wednesday afternoon for those who died in the attacks in Brussels on Tuesday.

According to a release from the Service Employees International Union, wheelchair attendants, skycaps, baggage handlers and cabin cleaners had all been set to strike at Sea-Tac and nine other airports across the country.

The vigil will be held at Baggage Claim 14 at 2:30 p.m.
