Woman critically injured in 4-vehicle crash on I-5; another driver arrested on charge of vehicular assault

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. -- A woman in her 20s was critically in a four-vehicle crash on southbound I-5 near State Route 18 Monday night, the Washington State Patrol said.  Another driver was arrested for vehicular assault.

The crash blocked all lanes of southbound I-5 for more than an hour.

The trooper later tweeted:

But the trooper later tweeted that he had made a mistake and the woman had not died, but was in critical condition at Harborview Medical Center.

No other details were immediately available.
