Sounders injuries improving ahead of Cascadia Cup clash

SEATTLE --

The Sounders FC injury bug looks to be turning around. Following training Thursday morning, Head Coach Sigi Schmid said goalkeeper Stefan Frei has not had any setbacks since missing the Sounders match against REAL Salt Lake last weekend. Frei, along with Nelson Valdez and Jordan Morris have trained in full since Wednesday. All three players will be available for Saturday's match against Vancouver Whitecaps FC.

Frei spoke following training, elaborating on his elbow injury. You can see what he had to say in the video above.

As for Sounders FC Captain Brad Evans, Schmid said he is coming along and is expected to return following the team's bye week.
