Missing Seattle woman found safe

SEATTLE — Police said Thursday they found a missing woman from the Phinney Ridge neighborhood.

Police said that neighbors of Jacqueline Sorgen, 68, called 911 Thursday when they found her power wheelchair abandoned in the alley near her home.

Officers searched the area surrounding the 300 block of North 79th Street , but were unable to find her.

But police said they later found her near the 7900 block of Dayton Avenue and she was undergoing medical evaluation.
