Police: 2 men arrested in connection with fatal shooting at Tacoma party early Sunday

TACOMA -- Police on Thursday night arrested two men in connection with a fatal shooting at a Tacoma party early Sunday morning, officer Loretta Cool said.

Maluelue Fitiao, 39, wsa shot dead inside his Tacoma apartment in the 7400 block of McKinley Avenue early Sunday after a confrontation broke out at his party, police said.

His girlfriend was also shot multiple times, but she was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.

Cool said that two men were arrested in connection with the case Thursday night. But she had no other information.
