DES MOINES, Wash. -- Police say they do not suspect foul play after a body was discovered in a van just after noon Wednesday.

An employee at an auto shop in the 22400 block of Pacific Highway South opened the van door and smelled a foul odor. The employee then saw a man's body inside and called police.

Authorities said the vehicle had been in the lot for three weeks and was last checked about four days ago.

There were no signs of forced entry and police do not suspect foul play.

The medical examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
