Seahawks sign nose tackle Sealver Siliga, who's been with Patriots, for second time in 3 years

SEATTLE - The Seattle Seahawks have a new nose tackle - and, this being 2016, you know it's true because it's on Instagram.

Sealver Siliga became a Seahawk for the second time in three years on Monday, signing with the team and immediately posting it to social media.

Siliga made a name for himself in New England after a short, unremarkable stint in Seattle. He spent just over two months with the Hawks after they traded John Moffitt to Denver to get him in August 2013, only to release him to the practice squad a month later and see him head to New England a month after that.

But he found a home with the Patriots, playing in their Super Bowl XLIV victory over Seattle and starting in 13 of the 26 regular-season games he played.

Siliga had 83 tackles and 5.5 sacks in New England.

The Seahawks confirmed signing Siliga and offensive tackle Bradley Sowell in a press release.
