Huskies in NIT, will take on Long Beach State

 

SEATTLE - The Washington Huskies will be a number three seed in this years NIT tournament and will host No. 6 seed Long Beach State in a first-round game at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Alaska Airlines Arena.

This is the Huskies’ first NIT appearance since 2013.   If the Huskies advance to the second round, they will take on the winner of the San Diego State vs. IPFW game.

 

Long Beach State are coached by former Gonzaga coach Dan Monson.
