Killer whale Tilikum, who was subject of 'Blackfish' documentary dying

ORLANDO - SeaWorld has announced one of its killer whales is close to death.

Representatives from the theme park say Tilikum - who was the subject of CNN's documentary Blackfish, has a bacterial infection. He is becoming lethargic and his health has been deteriorating in the last few weeks.

Tilikum has been with SeaWorld for 23 years.

His captivity has been the subject of a lot of controversy... the orca killed three people between 1999 and 2010.

There is no word on how much longer Tilli has to live... but trainers say they're just trying to make sure he's comfortable while he's still around.
