SEATTLE - Two men were shot on Beacon Hill on Monday morning, police said.

A tweet from the Seattle Fire Department said both suffered injuries to their lower bodies, but the injuries weren't life-threatening. Both were sent to Harborview Medical Center.

The shooting happened in the 2800 block of 17th Ave. S.

At least two schools were sheltering in place  for a time while police searched for a suspect, but that was lifted at around 12:30 p.m.

Seattle police said the suspect fled in a black Honda.
