Man shot at Tacoma gas station; K9 tracking suspect

TACOMA -- Police in Tacoma are searching for a gunman after a man was shot Tuesday morning at a gas station.

Officers were called to Pacific Ave & S 84th St around 10:25 a.m.

Police say two men who knew each other had an altercation nearby. One man shot the other.

Investigators say the man who was shot walked to the Arco station for help. He was shot in the leg and was not cooperating.

A police dog is working to track the suspect.

Administrators say four nearby Tacoma schools were on a modified lockdown which has since ended.
