Report: Seahawks backup QB Tarvaris Jackson will test free market

SEATTLE - It looks like the Seattle Seahawks might be in the market for a backup quarterback, whether they like it or not.

Jessamyn McIntyre of 710-AM tweeted over the weekend that Tarvaris Jackson will test free agency this year.

Jackson has spent nine seasons in the NFL, including four with the Seahawks. He played in four games last season, throwing only four passes as Russell Wilson's backup.

Jackson, who is 32, reportedly earned $1.5 million last season.
