SEATTLE  --  Seattle police are searching for a man they say tried to kidnap a woman on a busy Capital Hill street.

It happened on Bellevue Ave East around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday . The victim noticed a navy blue pickup truck parked on the street and as she passed the truck she says a man grabbed her by the shoulders and tried to force her into the truck saying "shut up and get in the truck".

“That's just really terrifying, living like a block away, knowing that could happen to anyone,” says neighbor Monica Loop.

Witnesses who heard the woman’s screams from across the street say the suspect drove a truck similar to this stock photo, a dark blue 2000 Chevy Silverado with tinted windows.

The woman wasn't hurt, but if you have any information, especially about that suspect vehicle, please contact Seattle Police.
