1 dead, 2 hurt in overnight shooting in Seattle

SEATTLE -- Police are still investigating an early morning shooting at the intersection of Rainier Ave. S. and S. Garden St. in Seattle.

One person died, and two others were rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Detectives say they are all men in the their 20s.

Police responded to several shots fired just after midnight Tuesday.

So far they have made no arrests and don't have any known suspects.

It's the fourth homicide in the neighborhood since September, and some neighbors are fed up with the violence.

"It's almost like every month in this area," said Chris Rizal. "It’s not good to stay here but I have no other option."
