Video of retiring sheriff's deputy dancing the Whip/Nae Nae goes viral

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – If anything’s ever deserved to go viral, it’s this video.

A retiring sheriff’s deputy is getting his 15 minutes of fame after a video of him dancing to Silento’s “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae) in the elevator went nuts on YouTube.

Deputy Tony Scherb retired after 29 years, the sheriff’s office wrote on its Facebook page.

 



“We knew that Deputy Scherb would leave behind a legacy hard to forget... but this is amazing!” they wrote.

Scherb spent 15 years working traffic, but also worked in CJC floor security, court and transport, patrol, and as a background investigator.

"He could be counted on to dress up as Santa Claus for a local Club Scout Chapter," the sheriff's office wrote.
