Power tool-stealing perps: Help Arlington Police identify suspects linked to thefts all over Puget Sound area

WANTED IN ARLINGTON --
Arlington Police need you to take a good look at this pair of power tool-stealing perps who detectives say have hit all around the Puget Sound area, including the Lowe's in Arlington where they pulled off a bold $1,600 heist.

“We are looking for two individuals that spent a little bit of time in Lowe's and stole two DeWalt drill kits which are worth about $800 each,” says Kristin Banfield with Arlington Police. “On the video you see them walk into the store. You see them move over to the tool section where you would find the drills and saws and more expensive equipment. They spent a lot of time going back and forth up and down the DeWalt area looking at these drills. They pick them up. They kind of take a look at them, check out the boxes. And one of them holds onto to two of them for a couple of minutes. Each take one and they act very casually like they`re going to walk up to the cash register and acquire these legally and the end up acquiring them illegally by sprinting out the door. These folks we`ve got really good images of them so we`re really hoping that someone will recognize them. They`ve done this exact same thing in Tukwila and also in Issaquah. They are causing havoc up and down the I-5 corridor and out on the 405 too so we want to make sure that we get them off the streets and into the place that they belong.”

The photos are from all three heists that they're suspected in.
