FBI asks for help identifying Seattle bank robber (PHOTOS)



SEATTLE -- The FBI's Seattle Safe Streets Task Force is working to identify a man who they say robbed a bank in north Seattle.

The FBI says the man in these photos robbed an Alaska USA Federal Credit Union inside of a QFC on Roosevelt Way NE.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 30s, around 5’8” with a medium to heavy build.  During the robbery he was wearing a baseball cap with a Seahawks logo and a navy Seahawks jacket with a green zipper. He ran out of the bank and fled on foot.

Authorities say a gun was not displayed, but that the suspect said he was armed. You are urged not to approach him.

Anyone with information that can help identify this individual is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Callers to Crime Stoppers may remain anonymous and are eligible to receive a cash reward of $1000 if the information given leads to an arrest and charge of the person(s) involved.
