Stocks are down but don't panic! Advice from BECU about saving for retirement



Stocks are opening slightly higher on Wall Street, a day after a sharp decline triggered by a slump oil prices.

Energy stocks recovered some ground early Thursday as the price of crude oil stabilized.

The Dow Jones industrial average edged up 18 points, or 0.1 percent, to 15,792.

The Standard & Poor's 500 index rose two points to 1,861. The Nasdaq composite slipped six points, or 0.2 percent, to 4,463.
