Small quake strikes about 2.8 miles southwest of Darrington

SEATTLE — A magnitude 2.1 earthquake struck about 2.8 miles southwest of Darrington Tuesday afternoon, the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network said.

It reported the quake occurred at a depth of 1.1 miles.

No one immediately reported feeling the tremor.
