Head on crash in Everett injures two

EVERETT - A head on collision on Rucker Avenue seriously injured both drivers on Saturday evening.  Everett police spokesman Aaron Snell told Q13News that an SUV and a car crashed in the 4300 block of Rucker Avenue around 4:30 pm.

Firefighters had to extricate both drivers from their vehicles, Snell said.   Medics transported both drivers to Providence Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.

The impact from the collision damaged some property at a nearby gas station, Snell said.

Traffic investigators are working to determine the cause of the collision and whether drugs, alcohol or speed were factors, Snell said.
