Bellevue man accused of stealing military-style firearms
SEATTLE (AP) — A Bellevue man has been accused of stealing military-style firearms, body armor, silencers, ammunition and tactical gear from a Seattle storage facility.
The Seattle Times reports that the 38-year-old man is being held at the King County Jail in lieu of $400,000 bail He was charged Tuesday with burglary, theft of a firearm, possessing a stolen firearm and possessing stolen property.
Court documents show that the man was arrested Friday after police were alerted to a possible break-in at the storage facility. The person who reported the incident said there had been a previous break-in last month where firearms were stolen.
Among the items stolen were 17 firearms, knives, silencers, ammunition, military-style tactical gear, a Rolex watch and high-end camera gear.
