The Seahawks are staging rallies Friday; be there, unless you love the Panthers or something

SEATTLE – Attention 12s: If you’re looking to hang out with a few thousand other crazed Seattle Seahawks fans, Friday’s your chance.

The team said Tuesday that it will stage three rallies in Western Washington throughout the day on Friday to get fans fired up in advance of the Seahawks’ NFC divisional playoff game Sunday morning against the Carolina Panthers.

That game kicks off at 10:05 a.m. on Q13 FOX, but coverage begins much earlier at 6 a.m.

The first rally will be at 10 a.m. at Monroe’s Lake Tye Park, followed by a noon rally at Marina Park in Kirkland, with a 2 p.m. rally at Bellevue’s Downtown Park capping the day.

All three will feature “Seahawks legends,” the team says, as well as Sea Gals, Blue Thunder and Blitz. There will be a ceremonial flag-raising at each of the rallies as well.
