Human remains found at Tacoma Community College

TACOMA -- Police are investigating after someone discovered human remains late Tuesday at Tacoma Community College.

Administrators say classes are going on as scheduled, but students are asked to avoid the area where the investigation is happening in the north parking lot.

The human remains were discovered along a walking trail near the parking lot.

Investigators have blocked off the area and detectives are at the scene.

Police have not yet said if the death appears to be suspicious. No further details were released.
