Downed trees, rock slides block I-90 for several hours

NORTH BEND, Wash. -- I-90 eastbound has reopened after rock slides blocked the freeway overnight, WSDOT officials said Monday.

Multiple trees and rocks came down on the roadway after a severe snow storm.

WSDOT had to wait until daylight to evaluate the stability of the slopes before the pass could reopen. It was back open around 9:20 a.m.
