Coroner: Kennewick man likely killed wife, daughter, self

KENNEWICK, Wash. (AP) -- The Benton County Coroner says it appears a Kennewick man shot to death his wife, their daughter with developmental disabilities and then killed himself.

The Tri-City Herald reports authorities continue to investigate the deaths of Doug and Elena Brown, both age 64, and their 27-year-old daughter Carmina Brown.

Police were called to their home on the 2600 block of South Kellogg Street in Kennewick Friday afternoon after a caretaker found all three dead inside.

Coroner John Hansens says initial investigation shows Doug Brown was the shooter and that each died from a single gunshot wound.

Police have said they aren't looking for suspects.
